Commemorating 50 years of Jaguar XJ-S
Created to mark the 50th anniversary of the iconic Jaguar XJ-S, this project was conceived as a comprehensive storytelling experience that honoured five decades of design evolution, engineering excellence, and cultural impact. The objective was to translate the legacy of the XJ-S into a cohesive visual narrative that could live across print, spatial exhibition, and live event touchpoints.
At the heart of the project was a commemorative publication, designed to document the XJ-S’s journey through time from its origins to its enduring influence using a carefully structured timeline, editorial layouts, and refined typographic systems. Supporting elements, including vehicle number stickers, exhibition panels, and large-format timeline installations, were developed to extend this narrative seamlessly into the physical space of Jaguar’s Gaydon event.
The result was an immersive anniversary experience that celebrated the XJ-S not only as a car, but as a symbol of Jaguar’s enduring design philosophy, craftsmanship, and innovation brought to life through print and exhibition design at Gaydon.
Anantika’s work is always to the highest standard the Jaguar brand expects. She is extremely creative and knowledgeable about her subject. I have appreciated her counsel, expertise and advice on all of our projects.
